This client wanted to polish the landscape surrounding his newly constructed home by adding a series of natural waterfalls to complement the surroundings of forestry and the natural slope of the property. The design evolved to include large natural rock outcroppings in and around the waterfalls as well.
After the final design was chosen, construction took place over the course of 16 weeks. The entire project was completed on time and on budget. Due to the number of tradespeople working on the construction of the new home, guest house, and the rest of the property, access to the site was difficult. Alderwood coordinated with the site project manager to stage equipment and coordinate material delivery to minimize conflicts on site. Everything went smoothly.
Alderwood’s licensed Landscape Architect designed a long, curved water feature that starts above the home, runs along the driveway, under the driveway, along their home, under the elevated home, and appears to empty into the custom swimming pool below.
This estate is one of the finest in the region, if not the world. The estate’s features, both inside the home and out, are of the finest quality and finish. These homeowners enjoy their outdoor living space here each summer and will continue to do so for decades to come.
